Soirée Event Management was founded in 2002 by Christal Woodson.  A graduate of the College of William & Mary, Christal received undergraduate and Masters degrees in sociology and marketing, respectively.  Her passion for meticulously planned and executed events, and the satisfaction that comes with that, led her to pursue event design and coordination in her "spare" time.

She has designed and coordinated receptions, luncheons, theme parties, fundraisers, weddings, and silent auctions.  Some clients have included Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse, The Hospices of the National Capital Region, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and the National Black MBA Association.
